WOW, what a way to start off the season. This winters hard work and dedication paid off nicely
Saturday. We went undefeated in 4 games and along the way outscored our opponents 31-6. The day was filled with some wonderful moments: In the 1stst at bat, Sam had a blast shot of about 200 feet dead center field for a HOMERUN; Grace in her 1st game of the season pitched a 1 hitter; game at her 1 In Shelby’s 1st game pitched she threw a 2 hitter; In the Championship Game Grace pitched a “No Hitter” and was one walk away from a perfect game. The girls behind the pitchers played almost perfect defense and the team showed great poise at the plate. What made this day special was not the combination of pitching, defense and hitting but rather the seeing a “team” playing softball together as one. Way to go girls we are so proud of you!
