The 8U Mustangs in their first tournament went undefeated for the day! Bringing home the Championship Trophy was a big deal for these newcomers to Travel Ball!
The team had a lot of fun and is looking forward to more tournaments!The 10U 98 Mustangs did well making it to the semi-finals and lost to the eventual winners of the tournament, the Bay City Bombers by the score of 2-1. It was a tough loss after leading the whole game but the team made a GREAT showing in their first tournament!
The 12U 97 Mustangs Played great the whole day! In the Championship game against the Cruisers they fell behind 3-0 only to make a 5 run ralley and go ahead 5-3 but the Cruisers were not through yet... with only 1 out between the Mustangs and victory, the Cruisers scored to win the Championship. The Mustangs should be proud of their 2nd place finish on their first tournament ever!
Congratulations to all the Mustang teams! It looked great seeing all the red and blue at Hoover Central this weekend!
